Personal Intelligence Agency Alert

The previous PIA Alert is here. In a rambling essay that includes declarations such as "the more Iraq looks like it will eventually emerge as a constitutional government, the angrier the world seems to become at the United States," Victor Davis Hanson writes the following (tip to TCR reader Chris B):

We have a window of 1 to 3 years in Iran before it deploys nuclear weapons.

We know the U.S. intelligence community's most recent official estimate is that Iran is about a decade away from the ability to produce a nuclear weapon. Thus, VDH appears to have his own Personal Intelligence Agency, the information from which has caused him to reach a radically different conclusion than the large and well-funded U.S. intelligence community that includes the CIA, DIA and NSA.
