The American Conservative

A heads-up to watch for an article I wrote titled "Papering Over The Problem" in the April 7 issue of TAC. It's on the cover, along with an article by Nicholas von Hoffman. If you don't subscribe, you can either get it at a newsstand or use this link to buy a downloadable version of the current issue. Feel free to email me any comments.

Also, be sure to check out the magazine's new group blog. If the first few days are any indication, it looks to be well worth a bookmark and daily visit.

just as a hattip or fyi, I have accepted the trial subscription offer from TAC, even though I am by no means a conservative. Thanks for your insights and clear thinking.

The group blog lost me with this line on the current post.

"The administration’s description of the long-term American goal—a democratic Iraq that can defend itself, govern itself, and sustain itself, and will be an ally in the war on terror—has remained consistent from the time the war was launched in 2003 until now."

Does anyone really believe that tripe? And if so, were they still a fetus in 2003?
