Seething, yes, but teaching children about the differences between appropriate contact with adults and what to do when they experience 'bad touch' goes beyond the commonly understood definition of 'sex eduction': it is essential to protecting children from predators.
So, the larger question: what's the agenda? Whom exactly is McCain protecting here?
Too painful to watch the entire clip, but:
"Absolute truth 100% of the time" -
Alzheimer's? Or, just a regular old, very old politician?
"Favorite Governor" -
I have friends living in Alaska. Others take annual trips for salmon fishing. No one has heard of her, therefore how can she be a favorite anything. She's a blind date.
But evidently she does something for some Republicans:
Editor of the National Review:
"Palin too projects through the screen like crazy. I'm sure I'm not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, 'Hey, I think she just winked at me.'
You can like the VP candidate, just don't LIKE the VP candidate ;-)
"He didn't detect it in Polls? Detect in Base?" -
What sort of maverick runs on polls?
Of course the Republican party suffers from multiple personality disorder too. When Bush was running for the nomination, didn't the Republicans, didn't Rove, say McCain was mentally ill due to his age and his imprisonment. The Republican party told us 8 years ago, beware McCain was unfit. So with 8 more advancing years, now everything is fine. Guess the entire Republican party is winking at us now.
Palin isn't the only one with folksy colloquialisms. There's a saying for McCain's temper and lying about his lying, and it doesn't show up in any poll or base.

Make-Believe Maverick: A closer look at the life and career of John McCain reveals a disturbing record of recklessness and dishonesty
It seems just before the Palin nomination, McCain began a spiral into insanity.

I have never read such a lovely article and I am coming back tomorrow to continue
