And this comment about Kennedy is spot-on.
It seems there is some legitimate confusion on just what languages Obama speaks, and as far as Arabic, the only real hint has came from Nick Kristof, who heard Obama recite the Muslim call to prayer in Arabic and with a "first-rate accent" back in 2007. With even the White House now smearing Obama as a Muslim, one wonders if the president hasn't been concealing some greater fluency with the language of the Koran. |

That's as bad, as someone counting the number of times President Obama has referred to the Koran verses the Bible. HHHmmm, if Fox and those are dragging us down that horrible path, just curious, what tongue did George W. Bush speak in?
Yes. That is a very good comment. Somehow we have to get out of this rut. Don't you think it's partly due to these folks being insecure, scared, or trying to appeal to the worse in folks to gain "power" or make a "buck". I think someday they'll be talking to the wall, because the younger generation doesn't have these prejudices.
I believe in the power of "positive example". They "trickle down". Don't you think President Obama and his family are a "positive example", and that it will "trickle down" to future generations?
If the President, or an up-and-coming Senator, pays taxpayer money to get a decent language tutor -- then the Terrorrists have Won!! Dhimmitude!!
Waaaahhhh!! Howcome the Romans got to force everyone to speak their language, but somehow _we_ are expected to learn everybody else's stupid foofy foreign languages?!?! Why didn't John Bolton introduce an "English-only" amendment in the United Nations when he had the chance?
How would Kristof know? He speaks Chinese, but as far as I know, he knows zero Arabic.
Geez, forgot about the might have been. Given McCain's advanced age and the effects cancer and being a P.O.W. have on a person's longevity I'm afraid it wouldn't be McCain we'd be worried about. At least if he made a mistake I believe he'd have the self awareness to know. The other half would just keep babbling on. Nanu - Nanu, President or PM X. BTW, any mispronunciations by McCain or Palin would not be reported by the MSM or right leaning media outlets.
