"A Series Of Stumbles"

I've predicted several times in the past (most recently in this post about a month ago) that Ben Bernanke's tenure might prove to be short one.

Expect this sort of chatter to start popping up more frequently now.

What's scary (but not surprising) is the growing criticism of him for failing to "protect the U.S. economy" from the recent turmoil. In a microphone and keyboard democracy, people get the kind of monetary policy they demand.

"Much of the fear of recession is based on a confusion, a lack of understanding and a lack of confidence in the policy that is being administered by the Federal Reserve."

He does kind of have a point. You see...we need a better flim flam man to prop up the confidence scheme. Maybe Donald Trump has grown tired of his TV celebrity and is ready for another public spectacle! If there was ever anybody born for a job...this has got to be it! LOL...man I crack myself up.
