A Heckuva Job Moment?

President Bush, on Porter Goss's sudden resignation today: "I appreciate his integrity. I appreciate the honor that he brought to the job."

Let's keep those words in mind over the next few days and weeks, shall we?

For the moment:
Rolling over laughing; tears running down my face.
Next:
I'll revisit the "integrity and honor" bunkum.
Third:
I'll delve into the absolute disaster this all makes for our intelligence community.
Do I hear the marching boots of the Pentagon?

It's hard (as I said in comments here) to feel real sorry for Republicans caught up in a sex scandal with actual corruption involved....

At this point, with all the BS, does it even matter what Bush says. His words mean nothing because he has shown us the trend of lies, the leaks and scandals, nothing to protect us but for politics, for Presidential powers. Take what Bush says, and think the opposite.

Of course we have to be concerned with this. Most reports are saying hooker-gate.

I think he would have been well advised to NOT use the word "integrity."

I wonder if there are any ethical and/or honest conservatives working for this "Christian Administration"?

Or is the concept of ethics and republican politicians in the Bush administration an oxymoron?
