So now we can expect many of the more vocal Iraq war advocates to enlist, no? I mean, they've all been itching to sign up, right?

This happens frequently. Often younger retirees with special skills are asked if they would like to return. They are offered a healthy bonus if they do.

Wow, even mentioning Rush Limbaugh on a website is enough to make it melt down in a fit of self-loathing.

Cool.

What other options does the Pentagon have if the wars are going to continue?

We're already letting non-citizens into our troops, with the promise of citizenship.

Assistance from other countries has by and large been exhausted.

A draft is politically not feasible.

Army recruiters are already using the most aggressive recruiting techniques.

Very few of the kids of senators, congress members, the administration, or celebrities are setting the example.

Troops and National Guard are stretched to the limit.

There's always kidnapping. I mean, if we're going to "do" torture, that's logically next.
Oh, pardon me ... logic is not part of the equation.

Take care of the Social Security problem and military Recruitment all in one, they just need to raise it a little bit more. Can Ted Nugget join yet? He's always toting a gun in those videos and looks the part, sort of.

I'm think'n in towns across America, where manufacturing no longer exists in its past forms and folks have lost their jobs after 20 years of work, what opportunities do they see for themselves.

It is kind of sad, the young join to get college funds and/or "find" themselves, the middle-aged because of employment lost and/or "reclaim" themselves. It appears we have a class military. What a hell of a way to fight a war.
