John McCain "Just Say Anything" Watch
I think it's time for this feature, don't you? The first installment was here a few weeks ago. Now this:
"By the way, a lot of us are also very concerned about the possibility of a, quote, 'Tet Offensive.' You know, some large-scale tact that could then switch American public opinion the way that the Tet Offensive did."Yes, at least the public hasn't turned against the war yet....

Any chance of sending McCain off to one of our black sites to be tortured?
McCain is feeling the heat of the rise of Guiliani, and wilting in the process. However, someone still needs to explain to me the popularity of Guiliani. At 8:40 am on 9/11/01, primary day in NY, Guiliani, after years as Mayor of NYC, with his multiple marriages and divorces, had his popularity at an all time low and could not have been elected dog catcher. Only the fact that his was visible and eloquent on 9/11 (in contrast to the AWOL, MIA so called President), redeemed his reputation by contrast. But is certainly does not qualify him for the presidency. Indeed, placing NY's emergency response center in the WTC after the 93 bombing there shows his lack of judgment. And, of course, that emergency response center was destroyed on 9/11.
Maybe he'll relocate the Pentagon in Bagdhad.
This literally made my entire afternoon. :OD Thanks C.R.!
I'm not so much worried about a 'Tet Offensive' as I am another 'Gulf of Tonkin'... McCain is toast, IMHO.
How about a 'we need to occupy the land' as the way to win wars?
