Desperately Seeking Legacy

The slings and arrows start to come out. Where was the press when it might have made a difference? Chattering about inanities like "the briefcase indicator" and writing books with titles like Maestro, I guess. It's incredible that Greenspan hasn't been dragged away from his lucrative speaking tour, put under some hot lights in front of Congress for a few days, and asked some very tough questions.

Very classy of Greenspan to defend himself by quoting someone who can no longer speak for himself.

They don't call him the Maestro for nothing. LOL...I like Greenspan. He's evil but he knows all the right words to say to confuse all the morons. If congress tried to put him under the "hot lights" they'd just wind up giving him a medal. He'd have them eating out of his hands. Poor Bernacke...he'll get all the blame.

Greenspan is one of the original "bushees" ... That neutered Congress might "hold hearings" ... Greenspan wouldn't testify ... he doesn't have to. There is only one branch of government, the Executive Branch. In 2nd and 3rd world countries, the term is dictatorship. Same definition.

Too bad he's not taking steroids; they'd have him up there in a heartbeat.
