Fascinating, well-written, and harrowing, yes.
However, regarding the last paragraph: even though I realize the article was written by a Brit, I just think that, due to recent events, Americans have forfeited the right to look down our noses and sneer at Chinese "greed and corruption" for the next decade or two. Hmmmmm, pot, kettle, something-er-other.
