"A Conquering Hero"
If you hid the web address and just showed me the first few paragraphs of this article, I'd think it was an Onion-type spoof. Note the inane "nice guy" narrative -- family man, baseball games -- that's been de rigueur for media profiles of Bernanke since he became Fed chairman. Brian Doherty gags here.
Obama has to announce his decision on Bernanke's future soon. A reappointment would put a big dent in the vestigial, general sense of hope I've had for him since the election.

If you read his quotes before the crisis where he said everything was fine, you only draw the conclusion that
1) he is an idiot and couldn't detect and obvious bubble
2) he is a liar
Glad this ship will sink on Obama's watch... hopefully sheeple will realize govt is never the answer to problems that it created!
Get ready to be disappointed. Benny boy is not going anywhere. Haven't you been paying attention? He has been our "savior" in these trying times. Lol
Oh hum... When I read the headlines, Market up because Bernanke says we are headed to a recovery. I thought the market is sure stupid, look at Bernanke's previous quotes. It sure would be nice to have our government, by the people, for the people, run by the people, back.

The Onion?
Satire is always hard pressed to keep up with reality these days.
I've actually seen Bernake's reappointment advocated by some commentators on the grounds that the only alternative being considered is Summers.
It is clear that many people are waiting for an answer but I think it is decision that should be made by several people
I fully match with whatever thing you have presented us.
