Without a draft, and the chance of our kiddies going on a trip...these numbers will mean nothing to the average American. More likely than a draft? How about a Bush guest worker program for Mexicans (two tours in Iraq and you go to the head of the line for citizenship)

I read a NY Post article today about General Peter Pace speaking at an IBEW scholarship awards program in NYC. Schumer was there, too.

Pace's father was a foreman with the IBEW in Brooklyn. How does a guy like Pace lose his way? Does he simply forget that his father was a working man?

I don't know how you can work for a headcase like Donald Rumsfeled and send your troops into battle for him. I couldn't keep quiet about Rumsfeld's lunacy.

For comparison, over 6,800 Americans were killed taking the island of Iwo Jima in World War II.

Hi, Added a new value add to my blog this weekend - a news widget from I always wanted to show latest news for my keywords in my sidebar. It was very easy with this widget. Just a small copy paste and it was done. Great indeed.
