It's pretty easy to lapse into sarcasm and reflexive pessimism these days, and I'm as guilty of it as anyone. For some constructive suggestions on Iran, read this.

We seem to be living in a Cartoon USA or something. I frequently discuss Iran on blogs. All too often there are (many of) those who think bombing the hell out of them will solve everything. Every time I ask "OK, well, then what?", and I have yet to hear a rational or thought out plan.
Ego trumping reality. The really sad part is when this train of thought is formented and pushed from those who are supposed to be our "leaders".
