High-Powered Agent Needed: Please Apply Immediately

It seems a few members of the opining Right could use some help negotiating their business deals. Last week, Andrew Sullivan noted the hysterical tone of the inside flap of Ramesh Ponnuru's new book. Here's Ponnuru today, disowning it:
I had no veto over the book jacket, didn’t see it until it had gone out, and didn’t much like it.
Next up: David Frum, backing away from some of his own work:
And here's my column from yesterday's National Post on the new book, Cobra II. A quibble on the headline, "Who Lost Iraq?" I don't think Iraq is lost, not by any means: I remain confident that the coalition will ultimately prevail.
In the movie business it's called "final cut," and it's a standard part of a director's contract after he's reached a certain stature. Can't anyone come up with a literary equivalent for the standard-bearers over at National Review?
