"Chavez Hysteria" Watch....

The second post in what will now be an ongoing and unfortunately much-needed series. The first post was here. From Reuters:
The United States on Thursday accused Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez of making new enemies abroad to fire up supporters at home with demagoguery such as saying Washington plans to invade his country.

In a new charge, the top U.S. diplomat for Latin America, Thomas Shannon, said Chavez relied on confrontation to fuel the nationalist passions of his key support base, the majority poor.

Chavez's strategy is "based on confrontation and conflict, and in order to sustain it over time it requires an ever-increasing search for enemies," the assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere affairs told lawmakers.

"And I believe that the anti-American rhetoric by the president is part of a larger effort to get his constituency mobilized," he added.
A politician stirring up nationalist passions and appealing to his "base" via fiery rhetoric about exaggerated threats?

Unthinkable.

Can you believe this guy actually tries to use the resources of the country (oil) to help improve the lives of the less-fortunate citizens of the country? What a bastard. Looks like Pat Roberts was right. We need to whack this guy soon. Fight "government for the people" there so we don't have to fight it here you know? But seriously folks, I'm starting to like this Chavez dude. Yeah, I know - the Castro thing. But hey; we've all got a friend or relative we're a little embarrassed about; right?

Pot meet kettle.

Please. Of course the administration would recognize this strategy wouldn't it?? What boggles is that they think Chavez cares.

So all a marxist dictator wannabe has to do to make you guys happy is redistribute some confiscated oil industry money.

I guess it is OK that he is funding and supporting FARC terrorists in Columbia - well known for killing Americans and funding themselves via the cocaine trade. He also shows great sympathy for terrorist regimes in Libya and Iran and has also had nice things to say about the Taliban.

He is a dangerous, anti-democracy, anti-freedom megalomaniac and you people are fools to consider him anything but evil.

I have been following a site now for almost 2 years and I have found it to be both reliable and profitable. They post daily and their stock trades have been beating
the indexes easily.

Take a look at Wallstreetwinnersonline.com
