More perspective and clear thinking available here as well.

Olbermann nails it.

I was sent the Olbermann transcript in the same e-mail where I received another very stinging condemnation of Bush by the mayor of Salt Lake City: http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,645197446,00.html. Also given yesterday, also worth a read. The quote from Roosevelt cannot be repeated often enough.

Olbermann was powerful in his speaking up to power. That took some courage actually. I don't normally read Belgrav... but did link over and found that to be powerful too. Thank you for the link.

I am afraid for my country. No, not that the terrorist will "get" us. Even though I believe there will be further successful attacks, that will not destroy this country. Rather, the rot at the top - using techniques that are clearly defined in the two links you gave us.

How can you bash George when he's such a "good Christian"? I guess we have to face the fact that a large percentage of this country votes on one topic and one topic only; religious belief (as compared to moral and competent actions).

Change "Muslim" to "Christian", and they'd probably think Iran had a model government.

Actually, I think Olbermann was a tad too modest. His piece is television, and thus more animated than a print op-ed would be, but I think he actually holds up to comparison to Murrow quite well. Would that any of the network stiffs, or for that matter, anyone on NPR, would dare to so openly and eloquently denounce such demagoguery.

You people dont actually believe that moron do you?
This talking head is the George Galloway of broadcasting.

think venezuela could be 'freed' at the same time in some "multiple theatre" action... if not soon then in about 2008 depending on the urgency of freedom's call...trying to find lugar's speech...
