Ron Paul straightens out 1988's version of the Titular Right. Note the "defeatist" charge from the audience member, who thinks the military is the solution. Sound familiar?

I have a lot of friends like that guy.
They want more law enforcement to solve the ills of society but then:
1. Balk at raising taxes to pay the cost
2. Scream up and down about getting a speeding or parking ticket (damn crooked cops were out to get me)
3. Are engaged in activities that are expressedly against the 'moral character' they think everyone else should aspire to.

Funny. Paul was a bit more feisty back then. Paul is just running to give a bit of comfort to the remnant.
