Kinda, Sorta

Here's the latest standard for victory in Iraq. It's hard to keep track, I know. But their Friday-afternoon-before-a-long-weekend twaddle betrays them. Does "sorta" really cut it when you're facing an "existential threat"? What happened to total victory? How would "sorta" have played on September 12, 2001 or December 8, 1941?

I'll send the link to Centcom. Someone should tell the troops the mission's been downgraded to sorta important.

"David Petraeus will be president of the United States."

Why not Ender Wiggin for Prime Minister then?

Look their kind of victory in Iraq is that when we are still there when the next president takes office so when the **** hits the fan the next president can be tared with the saying that he/she lost Iraq.
If Bush had stayed in office for the next 20 years we would have WON!!!
