All week I've been hearing Rush and Sean spouting off about the utter veracity of General Petraeus' report, and one of the things they mention is that the Iraqis want the U.S. to be there, to give them security -- and of course, the age-old refrain that our precision weapons never, ever kill innocent bystanders.
Yet somehow we don't see those sterling qualities when we look at the Blackwater mercenaries... private mercenaries nearly outnumber U.S. military forces in Iraq, and here's the biggest firm, getting expelled after accidentally shooting 8 civilians in a routine incident.
So much for private industry outperforming government (even if we assume the preposterous assertion that the US Military doesn't kill bystanders...)

Well, you didn't exactly "promise" use another one of your geopolitical/economic analyses, a couple weeks ago...

Oops, that was "us" not "use"
Hey, here's something you may want to comment on...
