Thank you, TCR, for your blog. I like that I, as a raving progressive liberal, can agree with so much of what you, a self-professed conservative, says. Thank you for your insightful, intelligent, educational posts. Also, thank you for writing posts that can be a start of discussion between me and my Libertarian father. He is what a Republican used to be. (I wish they'd take their party back!)
Anyway, keep posting. And know that if anytime between now and when I move from NYC to NC next summer, you're available, I'd love to meet for a cup of coffee, (on me) and shake your hand and thank you in person for being who you are and what you write. (Or as I've said before, if you ever give a lecture, I'm there!)
To those who comment on TCR's blog, Thank You for being you as well!! I have learned a lot from you all. If I didn't necessary agree with you, I have read what you have written and learned. I like how TCR attracts people from both the left and the right AND that we do find things to agree upon. That gives me hope for our country. "And hope is a good thing; perhaps the best of things."
