The Italian Connection
If you're not reading Josh Marshall every day for the latest scoop on the Niger forgeries and the connection to Italian military intelligence, you're missing the best reporting there is on this crucial story. Along with two colleagues, Josh covered some important initial ground in this article last year. During the past few days, he's penned a flurry of new posts here. It's must-read stuff.
I'm betting that when the truth becomes known on this story, it will make perjury and obstruction of justice seem about as important as grammar school playground fibs.

You are so right about that...I have been reading TPM religiously and it has really been connecting the dots about thie larger picture of what is behind Plamegate (the selling of the war at any cost).
Excellent work.
War and Piece does a good job covering this story too.
agree TCR, been reading both of you guys. Thanks.
Just caught up on your blog and am surprised at how independent you are...I hope more conservatives are starting to develope your independent streak.

Kay Bailey Hutchison is going to regret that "only a little perjury and obstruction of justice" comment. Wonder if she'll be eating Baked Crow for Fitzmas? Yellow cake for dessert, of course.
I have been reading Josh for quite a while, and he has been interested in the Niger forgeries for a while. Of course most of his posts were wondering why the FBI wasn't investigating more.
I wish I weren't so cynical, but I fear that the Italian stories will be largely ignored by the American media, American politicians, and the American people. There's nothing entertaining or titillating about them; on the contrary they're horribly depressing. I hope I'm wrong, and that people like Josh Marshall can actually push this story into the mainstream. But given the history of the last five years, I think it's clear it's an uphill battle.
I have been following a site now for almost 2 years and I have found it to be both reliable and profitable. They post daily and their stock trades have been beating
the indexes easily.
