After the midterm elections, there was speculation that the results were such a repudiation of the administration's foreign policy that the influence of outfits like AEI (and the JV squad over at National Review, among other places) could only wane. The escalation and the President's steroid-addled language re: Iran in his speech last week proved the opposite. I suspect we'll get more confirmation, unfortunately, in the weeks and months ahead. Vigilance....now more than ever.

If not stopped, Bush will mimic Hitlers invasion of Russia, that in the end defeated him by wasting men and equipment.
Although the way things are going in Iraq, we are slowly, slowly bleeding to death.
The Decider thinks because none of his family or friends have to sacrifice in any form he is safe.
