I hope you're not going somewhere with American Airlines.

LOL. I flew back to the midwest from Washington State...ran into several drunk AA flyers at the bar frantically calling around trying to figure out if I take a plane to Las Vegas...than to LA...then I can back to Chicago in the next 24 hours. Glad I was flying United.

If you get a chance checkout these two PBS programs:

1) Independent Lense, "King Corn". Lots of cheap corn = sick cows, sick people. So much corn was produced it sprouted the Corn Sweetener Industry. Our current system was brought to us by Earl Butz (he just died this Feb), Ag Sec Nixon/Ford, 1973. Farmers lose money on corn, but make money through all sorts of government programs. It rewards overproduction of cheap corn, which has further eroded the midwest lifestyle and brought us industrialized food production.

2) FrontLine, "Sick Around the World" Examines multiple healthcare systems around the world. The two programs complement each other nicely.
