KSM: From Torture To Tenure!
There's a lot of commentary out there about this article. But as I read it, I really had only one thought: I'm reading an article in the Washington Post in 2009 about how torture gets results -- turned a man's life around, basically. I didn't focus on any of the underlying issues. Which, ironically, is exactly what the anonymous sources wanted.

I was thinking about this argument of whether or not torture is effective and I thought of this analogy.
If you want a baby to stop crying one very effective way is to smother it to death with a pillow. It's morally abhorrent and no decent person would ever think of it, but it's very effective.
...and I was having the same kind of thought about the poverty in Detroit. Strafe the city with napalm. Problem solved.
hmmm...funny. I just thought it was very pathetic propaganda myself. It just seems to be getting less and less imaginative. I yawned after reading that story and thought of course it is just a coincidence that Holder is looking at prosecuting some low level CIA agents at this time...ohhh yes...just a coincidence I'm sure. LOL.
I read this horseshit article in the Houston Chronicle the other day. Reminded me of the Plame affair. I guess if we are all unwilling to pay for investigative journalism we can expect the menu to be restricted to Leak de Jour as the playaz dish out the news.
Quite effective info, thank you for the post.
I fully agree with whatever thing you have presented.
It cannot succeed in actual fact, that is exactly what I think.
