Nothing To See Here, Move Along Please...

If a trial involving national security takes place and the press yawns, does that mean it never happened?

Well, if it were general public knowledge that Israel spies on the US it might become difficult to maintain the fiction that Israel=Good. People might begin to realize that the Israel lobby plays the US like a fiddle.

Part of maintaining influence is keeping that influence discreet. The US government is not the only large entity that Israel hold sway over.

I may be totally wrong, but the whole idea of foreign countries lobbying our Representatives with big bucks (knowing our Reps love money over everything else) seems very dangerous. I am sure our Reps would sell our country, including national security, for their personal gains.

Suppose, in a way it could be worse. A public hearing could take place (FCC), and a corporation (Comcast) could pay people off the streets to fill the seats, so media and critics couldn't attend.
