Ostrich, Meet Sand....
I realized I hadn't checked out some of the more popular opiners on the Titular Right for a few months, and I wanted to get their take on the U.S. attorney scandal and the important documents released on Friday. I didn't have much luck. First stop: Michelle Malkin. As of Sunday morning, here are the last ten issues she covers, starting with the most recent:
1. The litigious Flying Imams (appropriate links to Powerline and The Washington Times).
2. "A guilty liberal family tries to live a no impact lifestyle in New York City."
3. A protestor defecated on a burning American flag.
4. "Be well, Tony" (reference to Tony Snow's surgery).
5. An approving link to another blogger who warns, "Watch out America -- they have clearly demonstrated their desire to kill you..." ("They" being Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews.)

8. A warning from Malkin to check the political affiliation of storage-space operators before renting a unit in New York City.

10. A cricket coach is strangled to death.
On to Hugh Hewitt, where the last ten posts are about:
1. "The Stations of the Cross: A Devotional Guide for Lent and Holy Week."

3. Hugh's book ranking on The New York Times Best Sellers list (link to Amazon included).

That's.... not easy. I guess if you light one end, then... still sounds dangerous.

I'm pretty sure the flag/defecation thing is true - it just happens that the "protester" was an anarchist type who likes the attention, not a legit anti-war protester. But, hey, whatev Malkin!
He was just trying to put the fire out.
We now know that all of the allegations are true, since they don't know what to say.
The late great G.G. Allin would also defecate on a burning American flag, with the added touch of a burning bible atop the flag.
Kinda of a two-for-one offensorama.
And we all know shitting on a smouldering piece of fabric is far more offensive that getting thousands of people killed and maimed in an illegal war based on fabrications and deceit.
Wow. When even this crowd won't parrot the Bush talking points (they served at his pleasure, investigations smear good public servants, total confidence in Gonzales), you know the White House is on really shaky ground.
What is truly sad is, after I saw this post, I started looking at Malkin and Glenn and they STILL don't seem to be saying anything about the attorney firings scandal - it is as if it doesn't exist. Gee, how fair and balanced of them...
And now, almost a month later, I've looked in again and those I checked STILL have said NOTHING about the scandal, not even after AG Gonzales testified. Utterly incredible.
